Default nitrous

Got question. i just install nitrous on my car which is 99 pontiac trans am bone stock.i first tried it with 100 shot and felt pretty good. so i decided to step u to 150. So i sprayed it today with 150. Car went from 1 to 2 gear find but when it was going from 2 to 3rd it went up on rev limiter and wouldn't shift
What would cause that.

I don't know all the specifics, but leave it in OD and it won't do that.

Are you running the stock torque converter?

This. My car used to do that N/A with just longtubes, if I tried to manually shift it 1-2-3, the 2-3 shift would bounce on the limiter a few times before it shifted. Left in OD, wouldn't do it. Get a nice stall and a retune and you should be good to go. Best bet is to call one of the reputable stall companies (Yank, Vigilante, Circle D) and tell them what you have done to the car (N2O), they'll suggest a stall, install it and tell your tuner the same thing, stall and N2O, he should get you hooked up.

Try a fluid and filter change, mine did that from 1-2, old fluid smelt burnt, new fluid in and no more hitting rev limiter
