Default shift points and nitrous

Got a question. I have 99 trans am thats pretty much stock. i have 4.10 gear and nitrous. i tried sprayin 150 shot and the car went on the rev limiter with me just leavin the car in drive and not hand shifting. would i need to raise rev limiter or change transmission shift points. i will welcome all advice.

lower your shift points .... 1-2 shift is the one that needs lowest setting, raise your rpm limit a hundred rpms a fuel cut during nitrous is dangerous

Your gonna want to get it to a good tuner to know current timing and shift points. Then will need to pull some timing in the tune or use a controller w/that 150 shot

peak hp/tq happen at lower rpms with nos ,so shift sooner .was the motor dynoed with nos ? at what rpm do it make peak power ?also consider taller tires if you use nos a lot .

hey thanks a lot. so u say raise my rev limiter up by 100. Now on the shift points where do u think i should lower that to and should i just do for 1-2.
