Knock sensor Replacment
Knock sensor Replacment What is involved in replacing the 2 knock sensors. IE do i need to get an intake gasket? I heard that coolent leaks into the oil so you need to do an oil change afterwards...IS THIS TRUE? thanks for the help!!

If you take off the intake you must lift it straight up...do not lift the front and not the back or YOU WILL break the oil pressure sending unit..it will cost you $30+ for another one..be advised it is very EZ 2 do...

definetly not worth 340 bux ... it's an easy job... intake manifold comes off , unscrew knock sensors, install new ones, torque to appropriate torque ... reinstall intake manifold and done... maybe a 2 hour job start to finish?
