Still Throwing Code and Strange Start I had a check engine light on and scanned it to find out it was the P1416 code. After doing some research I went ahead and replaced my passenger side air pump check valve hoping this would correct the problem. I understand I may need to clear the code, but what I don't understand is why my start is still, for lack of a better word, strange.
When I go to start the car it feels like it stumbles a little bit and doesn't want to start sometimes. Mind you, when it does start, it does not take very much cranking. When the engine is on it has a very low idle and then finally comes up after a short period. It doesn't have the "pop" as I like to call it of many LS cars when they are started.
What could the issue be?
