Default o2 sensor ?>simulaters need help.

putting long tubes and y-pipe,on my 01 z28,no cats.i see that a lot of people use the simulators,what would happen if I just put new bungs in and use the 02,s.would it throw a code,also car came with hypertech programmer#30025,dont know if that will get ride of a code if it comes up.thank you in advance.
where is best place to get the simulaters and also the extensions for 02.

the 02 sims are used to replace the 02 sensors after the cats. an 02 sim cannot be used to replace the 1st 02 sensor that senses the combusted mixture. that 1st one sends its' signal to the computer to adjust air/fuel ratio.
some hypertech models have the ability to read and clear codes.
sometimes adding longtubes causes a rich mixture which needs to be adjusted with a 'tune'.

thanks, I should have said the rear 02,s.yes the front one's are in my header.

Yes, it will eventually trip a MIL if you just plug the factory rear O2 sensors back into the harness without having cats present. You can use the factory O2s to fill the bungs if you want, but you'll need to plug sims into the rear sensor harness to keep the SES away unless you get a custom tune for the cat delete.
