Blowout

After replacing my battery on 2002 Z28 my horn blows when i insert the ignition key until i start the car. After several times disconecting the battery in a attempt to reset it i still have this problem ! Any info on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated !

I think you have the key that has a chip in it,i'm not certain but it don't cost nothing to try.............put key in door and lock and unlock doors,then get in car and turn ignition off and on 3 times,this should reset it........don't start car just turn ignition off and on. Hope this helps..

there are some ways to reset the pcm. I've had to do this after I replace power headlamp motors and such. It has fixed some issues I've had over the years. It is easy and you remove battery terminal and pull some fuses. I apologize that I don't have the instructions at my fingertips but I do keep a copy in my car manual/receipts for times I have used it. You can search it. good luck

Are you using the remote to unlock the doors? When I first bought my 2001 Z the remotes were trashed so I had to use the key and the horn always went off until I started the car.
