More going up hills than on flat pavement. However, either scenario if your stingy with the gas with a stout clutch. Mine is worse if my car is rolling 1mph up to a light about to turn green. If I engage the pedal.. and then disengage it and give it some gas to try and move when I was at a 1-2mph roll, it will chatter like hell. Hence why you'll see me do that VERY rarely.
