Default cam sensor

Hi guys. I recently bought a gen 111 lm7 fitted with gen 1v crank rods+pistons also a compcam custom grind 54-000-11 and what looks like to me its 3 bolt 1x sprocket it has a gen 111 front cover which I assume will need changing for one with cam sensor on will I need to make something up to cover the cam sensor hole in the block or is there anything aftermarket out there

Well I'm not sure why you want to use the cam sensor in the front cover? The LM7 would use the cam sensor at the back of the valley cover with a 1x camshaft in factory form. So a front cover without the cam sensor (LS1 cover) will work just fine if you want to use the cam sensor in the block. If you want to use the front cover cam sensor you simply need the LS2 cover, but I am unaware of any specific plugs for the block.

Well there are cams out there without the ring on the back, but the chances are much better that the ring is on it. You should be able to see it by looking down the hole.
