Muffler delete

Will I lose power with a muffler delete , I have a 2001 ws6 with 50,000 miles and I put a magnaflow on it and it sounds like crap , I don't mind the muffler delete I just don't want to lose power.

Have you thought about an exhaust cut-out? Might be a good thing in the early morning for the neighbors.

This might be the first time I have heard someone say the magnaflow sounded bad on their car. I have one and love it. Most people just complain it is too quiet.

I vote for the cut-out, that way you have that option when you're driving for an hour on the highway to close it so you do not go mad to the constant deep drone of no muffler at a steady RPM.

I had Magnaflow on a previous heads/cam car that sounded great, especially at WOT. And have one now on my current car which is stock and it still sounds good, however definitely not loud.

You dont like the way the magnaflow muffler sounds but youre expecting to like it when you delete the muffler completely? I ran my old z28 for about a week without a muffler because I got tired of the baffles inside the old muffler rattling around while I was waiting on my replacement dynomax muffler. Sounded like absolute garbage without a muffler IMO.
