Should I keep it? So, my car was in an accident last week and is now at the body shop. It has $2300 in damage (bent LCA, benrt frame rail bracket, painting) and will be ready in like 2 weeks. The question is, should I keep my car? Now that the car has been in an accident all of its value is ruined. If I ever try and sell it, someone will want a big discount because the car was in an accident. If I get rid of it now, I will only lose about $1000. Any thoughts?
A few..... How would you be loosing less money now w/ the car in shambles than you would in the futre w/ it put back together. From a purely financial point, it does suck that your car got hit, but how long did you intend to keep it anyway? If it's a good long time, than who really cares what it's worth? I know everybody is different, but I plan on keeping mine for as close to forever as I can. 
It's obviously your decision, but I'd put it back together better than before since it's apart anyway. GL though, whichever way you go.
