budget build
lc8 6.0 what is a great way to get power on a budget, I don't mind to put some money into the motor and car I just don't want to spend unneeded money when yall geniuses have done this before! I'm gonna also change the exhaust to help it flow. I know the stock block will hold some, and the crank can hold 600hp for sure! so what rods, pistons, heads, cam, etc!!
please help!

For a budget build, leave the stock block alone and stick to heads/cam and bolt-ons. You can make some pretty good power with that alone. The 6.0 has a pretty low compression ratio so you have some room to increase the power via increasing the compression ratio with your head/head gasket selection. A LS6 intake manifold is worth a few hp for the money and it will look a hell of a lot prettier.
P.S. You didn't specify the application you are using this engine for. That will dictate what cam will suit you best.

Was it a cng lc8 or gas? It will have valve relieved pistons for the vvt but maybe a dish also. We can get you a straight flat top with hard anodized top and vvt delete and cam kit plus complete gasket kit for the best prices around!
Let us know your power goals and we can help get you there!!
Thanks
