Default Alternator connector question

So I am in the middle of replacing my alternator and I noticed the electrical connector only has 1 wire going to it but has 4 holes for wires...new connectors have 4 wires...is the camaro only supposed to have 1 wire...or are some missing? Thank you

Those other three wires on the new connector can be ignored/deleted. You only need the one wire (this is the exciter/field wire), as mentioned above.
