Default It is time to get started here.

Hello,

Hopefully there is still a lot of intelligent folks that go on here on a regular basis. I have a 1998 camaro that is pretty much a shell and I have a short block, "ls," engine for it. I honestly do not know where to start. I went out to my storage unit and took some phots. The main goal here is to get the car up and running and maybe on some boost. Im not totally worried about the interior right now. Hell...I probably will not even put a dash in it right away. I will attach some pictures here. Please give me your input folks.

Whew, you have your work cut out for you!!
There are years and years of helpful information on this site. The "search" field will be your friend.
People love build threads on here, whether you are a beginner or a master builder doesn't matter. If you ask for help you will most likely get an answer, or at least pointed in the right direction. Good luck man!!

Alright. So, I did some trading today and picked up some stock parts. I got a stock, "truck," intake. It has everything on it; fuel rails, injectors, and all the sensors. I also got the injector harnesses. I also got some valve covers, valve cover bolts, p/s pump and bracket, "heat sink" coils, alternator, starter, and a stock, "truck," water pump. I think that is everything.

Don't think that intake will clear your hood. Is the short block a LS1 or 5.3/4.8?
