We can get you a great setup that is enjoyable to drive and makes great power! Can also set you up with a cam that would not require you to put a stall converter in. If you wanted a more aggressive cam this would be a necessity. Being an auto you need to know that it will soak up more power vs what a manual would, an auto usually has about 20% drivetrain loss where a manual is closer to about 15%.

Alright. Either way though, do you guys have any other suggestions for about how big the cam should be? I’m leaning towards the TrickFlow GenX 220 heads, unless you have a suggestion that would be better for not much more in price. Then, what’s the difference between getting a 92 mm intake set up as opposed to one that’s 102? Other than size obviously

I wouldn't be concerned about what it dynos too much just match the parts well and it will work as intended. 450hp will require a set of high dollar aftermarket heads ($2300+Valvetrain) and a decent sized cam with a fast intake a bit more injector and pump. It will add up fast. In an auto with a decent street cam and ported 243s you could make 420-430 and have a fun reliable car without breaking the bank. Use the money you save from expensive heads and valvetrain and fast 92 on some pistons and rod bolts and turbo it. 500whp is a whole new monster and imo isn't worth the cash. If you want 500hp then find yourself a junkyard 6.0 and start building it on the side and make more than that.

Get a good budget head, mid 230 cam and spray it.

Fast 92 would be more driver friendly and less expensive than the 102 Fast. Power from one to the other isn't too much.

Don't forget pushrods, injectors, fuel pump, maybe larger maf and more important a converter will be needed with a cam.
