Tech question Hello, I just introduced myself as a newbie. I apologize ahead of time if this is the wrong forum to ask a question, but I'm desperate, lol. I've had my SS for 16 years and finally got the cash to make some mods. I have LT's, off road y-pipe, and I just installed a TSP 228R cam, last week with PAC valve springs. Here's my problem. I had my Camaro tuned by a local shop that was recommended. After the tune, when I put it in gear, after a few seconds the rpm's will increase to 1,000 and change. I have talked to the shop since then and have checked for vacuum leaks, reset the IAC, and cleaned the throttle body with no change. The shop said they will fix the problem for free, since I already paid a small fortune to have it tuned, lol. But before I can get it back to the shop, I'd like to know if any of you have experienced the same thing, and of course, what the fix was. By the way it has an AT with a stock converter. But I plan on getting a tighter convertor by the end of this summer. Thank you in advance.
