Default Clunking on acceleration

Something is clunking in the rear when I accelerate at medium throttle. Much worse at hard to WOT. No clunk at all if I drive normally, like if it were a commuter car..

It might be the exhaust. But if it's not and it's something with the suspension, then how worried should I be? Should I get it looked at immediately or have some time to keep driving to work, etc. until I get the time?

I don't feel anything worse or even different with the handling. It's about the same. No clunking when making sharp turns at a sporty speed neither.

Thanks.

Could be u-joints or torque arm.

U-joint, torque arm, shocks, pinion or a few other things. I'd call a couple of shops and see if any give a free check. My local Goodyear will do a quick look at tires/wheels/brakes/suspension for free if you're willing to wait a bit for them to sneak it in. I'm betting some chain store in your area will do the same.
