knock sensor

can anyone help, I have a ls3 with a ls1 ecu in my car . the knock sensors are located on the lower side of the motor (single wire) . when driving on the freeway, steady pace, the engine light turns on, it is the knock sensor alarm. can any one help?

Try changing the sensor out.

Could be the wires to the sensor bouncing around from the wind in the engine bay. Could be bad sensors. Could be working perfectly and telling you that there's a problem under rpm.

Do some internet searches about this subject. Seems the sensitivity level needs to be lowered(tuning) when moving the single wire knock sensors to the side of the block.
