Default Bump stop mod ls1

I plan on doing the bump stop mod ,has anyone ever used a caliper gauge to measure it from stock and after measure it to 90* once it’s ported ? I don’t have an auto meter or auto tap like install university says but I’m gonna do it anyways just wondering if anyone has done it without the tools they recommend . Can someone measure there’s that they have already ported ??

You may not get the answer you'd like. Every casting is different; therefore, what may work for someone may not work for you. There is a cheaper way of doing this mod; however, not as precise and it would require a volt meter to measure the TPS voltage. You can get a cheap volt meter on Amazon for under $10. You do not want to accidentally grind off too much as this can lead to over voltage and issues with the TPS.

On another topic, you should consider introducing yourself to the forum.

A blue tooth OBD-II scanner is $20 on Amazon, and the Torque Pro App is $10 in the Google Play Store. That will tell you throttle position %, (and a thousand other things.) Was a great investment in my opinion.
