Default I need help deciding...

LQ4
LS6 Valve Springs
7.4 Pushrods
Truck Intake
88(?) mm throttle body
8.1L Injectors
Long tube headers

K5 blazer that'll be a summer DD, I want something that I can smash it on the on-ramp and then cruise on the highway/around town. Occasional wheel spinning is cool too

I'm not afraid of a torque converter and the highest octane fuel i want to have to run is 93

My current dilemma:
1. Install 706 heads or mill my current 317 heads
-Mill my 706 heads?
-Do nothing??
2. XR269HR-14 or BTR Stage 3 Truck Cam

I understand the comp cam is more so a top end cam and i heard it's pretty decent but its what i have on hand, i just want to make sure i'm making the right decision. A squarebody ls swap page i follow on FB seems to be very popular with the BTR cam, shorter duration/higher lift seems like the smarter choice for me but again I just need someone to back me up on that.

I'm also trying to get a bit more compression. I have a set of 706's on the shelf and 317's currently on the truck, I'd really like to slap the 706's on there but i'm afraid with my DCR at 8.89:1 (with the btr cam) that I'll get some knocking on 93. With that said the 706's are going to need to get sent out to get cleaned up (valves seat, faced-off, cleaned) so sending out the 317's to get the compression bumped up and freshened up will cost the same.

Not sure what to do
