Default Looking for a cam

I have a 98 trans am with a mti air lid and exhaust, but that is it I want to get a cam but don't know much about them and would like to hear from some people that have any suggestions on one to get.

Do some searching and you will find lots of discussion dyno posts etc..

Depends on what you want the car to do, and planned future mods.

A popular grind is the Thunder Racing 224 cam.

Myself, I am partial to smaller cams, that make great mid range power. Check out some of the Comp Cams XE Cams in the mid 21X duration. If you arent gonna get headers, then i would suggest a split pattern cam with more exhaust duration

Great for the street and strip and puts out great numbers!
