I Just installed Hawks diff cover with stud kit. After cleaning up I found an extra stud washer s$@!!!
How many washers come in the stud kit? Please lmk thank you

That's not an extra washer, it's a magnet to catch stuff like those shavings. Yes some is normal. You'll also find those magnets in transmission pans for the same reason. Things wear over time and the metal shavings get caught by the magnets.
