Default Need some help

I'm fairly new to the LS world and would like some feedback if available.
I bought an 05 Silverado from a friend of a friend and he gave me a bunch of upgrades to add on to it. It's an LM7 with L83 heads I believe, pretty much stock to my knowledge and he has had some sort of shift kit or trans tune done to the 4L60 as well as a mapping of the tow/haul button which locks it in the next lower gear and won't shift til it hits redline. Like I said I'm not sure what's done to it so I'm hoping y'all will shed some insight my way. He gave me a brand new stage 3 btr truck cam kit and a precision 3600 stall converter. Oh and a Yukon 4.11 ring and pinion kit. I'm curious to know if this is all sounding correct and if not, what to get to make it right. The truck scoots the way it sits. Also, it has long tubes and a cutout. Any info would help me out as to where to begin and what else I would need to make it a pretty quick daily driver.

There are two approaches I can see to get a handle on what you've got. Buy a tuning suite (EFILive or HPTuners) and compare your tune to a stock tune for your truck. That way you can figure out exactly what tuning modifications have been made (or not) for the equipment you have. The other option would be to send your PCM to a reputable tuner and consult with him about what you have, what's right and what's wrong, and how to get your tune dialed for what you want.
