Temp switch Hi everyone, newbie here, picked up a 2000 camaro ss , my question is, do they sell the temp switch that turns the fans on sooner, my temp is about 208 , and i would feel better if i could cool it down some . Just bought the car so not to familiar with it yet, alot different from the 70,73, and 76 camaros i have owned in the past lol thank you for your time and help
Temperature sensor (switch) just indicates temperature and sends the info to the computer where fan control exists. Computer program for fans can be changed within the computer.
SLP used to sell a manual plug-in (into harness) switch to manually turn on one fan or both.
The SLP version is long obsolete, here's the latest manufacturer of them.

As mentioned above, on cars of this era any changes to automatic fan operation need to be made via custom tuning. The sort of "low temp switch" you're referring to would have been for older versions.
