Need help I have a 2000 z28 camaro convertible what I'm having issues with is when I hit the gas it acts like it has no ***** and at first gear or close to it it what I call hiccups and like cuts out or slows down and then after a second or two will get going again but I can be in third gear on highway and smash the gas and it will still choke up anyone have any ideas it's basically stock but it has exhaust manifolds with 3 inch exhaust which is how I bought it and only throwing a code of an o2 sensor needing replaced downstream

Start with the simple things, air, gas, spark.
Is the air intake free and clear of debris, MAF screen not blocked, MAF been cleaned? What's the air filter look lilke?
Fuel filter been changed recently?
That sort of thing.

Sounds fuel related so you might want to break out the fuel pressure gauge and check for pressure drops. Should be 58psi on the rail and maintained under load so you could have a clogged filter, faulty pump or regulator.
