Hi guys,

I’m trying to find out what the cam spec on this cam is. It’s out of an LS1. The guy who installed it reckons it’s a comp cam 231/251 but the numbers on the back are very random and have asked around but no one seems to know what they are. Does anyone know someone I could get in contact with to see what it actually is. I’ve been stuffed around from this guy on the same car so I want to find out if it is what he says it is without pulling the engine apart to calibrate it manually.

there is a 49901 which has been hand engraved on the opposite side of those other numbers

 

 

Hi... Did you find the brand of cam... I Have one in my LS3 Wagon with similar numbers.315623 419800 engraved is 49919 and looks like 8.17

 

I think these might be the specs. I’m not sure who the vendor is.
