I have and ls motor but the block numbers match both LQ4 and LQ9 numbers but the piston are flat top with 317 heads come out of an 02 Escalade I want to rebuild and get some good horse power out of it but dont know where to start

 

Welcome! With flattops it’s an LQ9. Blocks are the same. Go over to our Gen3 Internal section and ask some questions.
