Okay so i just bought a 2011 Silverado 1500 supposedly with the 4.8 L20. Anyways the part number on the intake manifold on it comes back to a 2007-13 4.8 but the map sensor i bought for a 2011 was different. The part number on the map sensor currently on the truck comes back to 99-08 4.8’s which confuses me cause it should have changed generations in that range. Anyways, i cant seem to fit the proper map sensor in the manifold on the truck. Any options out there other than machining the intake out for the larger gen 4 sensor?
