Mirror Problem

Mirror Problem I'm not sure where I should post this so I figured this would be as good as any where. My driver side mirror on my 99 Z always slips back so I can't see out of it whenever I set it to where I can see. I'm not sure if this is because I have a stripper camaro and have power nothing! But any insight would be great.

I have a stripper Z28 as well, but my mirror doesn't seem to have any problems like that. I would advise that you take a look inside the adjustment mechanism. I bet you'll find a spring out of place which is causing the unwanted movement. At least the passenger side isn't even adjustable so it will probably never break.

I had this same problem. Just get some two sided tape and stick it behind the mirror after you position it where you want it. Then super glue it to the tape. You really can't notice it being there. It was my only option since I couldn't find one for sale and didn't want to pay dealer prices. I'm sure there are other ways to fix it but this is what iI did. I didn't see a spring out of place in mine. It got bumped and it broke.
