you can get them custom made to exit with full tailpipes too. if you go over the rear axle, both pipes have to be routed over the passenger side of the axle and then one has to come back over to the other side to exit. if you go under the axle (which a lot of people actually do), you can go with straighter pipes.

in either case, any muffler other than a bullet will require some hammering on the floorpan. if you do decide to go with a regular muffler, the dynomax ultra-flo is just about the best one out there, relatively quiet under light throttle, screaming under load and EXCELLENT flow.

Do you have to change the bar at the axle to allow more than 2 pipes that are larger than 2.25 inch? The panhard bar?

That link to the Texas site for the pipe and bullet mufflers to the axle for under 500.00 sounds pretty sweet, I may have to that.

no you can run dual 2.5 inch pipes over the axle as long as they are both on the passenger side. supposedly there is a kit out now that relocates the panhard rod in a way that allows true over-the-axle duals that go over on both sides but i don't have any info on it. anyone wanna chime in?

If you were to get the TSP duals that end before the axle, would any modifications need to be made to the car or the exhaust before installation?

Dude seriously before you spend 400+ dollars on a True dual kit, call Jegs.. You'll spend around 420-430 for the TSP kit, and around 500 for Lanes true duals plus install if you want it welded.

I'm going myself with an x-pipe from Jegs, flowmaster 1 chambers and Flowtech LT coated headers all for less than $650 bucks. If you want deep and loud, I could recomend anything better than the Flowmaster 1 chambers. Just dont plan on lowering your car.

you, get what you pay for; the TSP duals are a mandrel bent quality piece and lanes are one of the best dual makers out there. then youo have the flowtechs which are bottom of the barrel as far as quality goes. spend a little extra now or alot more later.
