LS7 = 6.6L, 24 valve, 90 degree V8.
My brother and two of his co-workers are working on designing an engine of their own, and they are using the Gen IV smallblocks as models. So they gathered as much information as they could find pertaining to the LS7 and input them into a computer dyno.
525hp/540lbft.
Granted this is a computer simulation and a few items had to be derived, but that sounds very promising.
