Default fly wheel

hey guys the flywheel for a 2000 t/a uses 153 teeth or 168 teeth, or does it even matter how many teeth the flywheel has???

I'm guessing that any aftermarket LS1 flywheel will work. If you're looking at SBC flywheels, which may be why you're asking about tooth pattern, they won't fit. But to answer your question, the teeth do matter for the starter. They need to match/mesh.

sbc=small block chevy.

dont know much about the newer fuel injected motors but i would assume a sbc flywheel is not compatable with an ls1.
