Paint Problem My dumbass decided to try to take care of a few minor scratches on my rear bumper and ended up creating more damage than I started with. I used a fine grit sandpaper with some water and stripped the clearcoat off my bumper, which is very noticeable at night when headlights shine on my bumper. Below is a picture of the damage, let me know if I can buy some products to take care of this or let a body shop do the work. Thanks guys.

Are you sure that you went through the clear coat? Whenever you wet sand the paint, it always looks like that before you polish it.I would have a friend or someone who knows about buffing and polishing try to buff it out first, but if infact you did go through the clear coat, you gotta get it repainted to look the way you want it.

right on....if you dont know anyone to buff it just get some rubbing compound and do it yourself with a clean rag....after that get some hand glaze to shine it up and should be good as new
