Take it or leave it............... I have wanted a ram air trans am for years. My dad said that theres a 1999 Camaro Super sport at the auction this week. He said I can cut school this thursday-friday and go to the auction with him and get it. If he gets it I will keep the car. So, its a 99, pewter,A4. I really love WS.6s but, I want a car so bad it hurts. Imagine having a job, a license and no car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> This saturday I was standing in front of a local store and hang out. This kid in my school has a red 3000 gt. He thinks hes hot **** and when he pulled out his front tires kicked up snow and hit me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> I was just thinking how sweet it would be to have a SS that he knows would *** rape his GHEY rice burner! But, I like the WS.6 also. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> I couyld always get the SS and then sell it and get a T/A. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Well, I have a few days to think about it.......
I just edited my post because I just learned the car is a Auto! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> I really wanted 6 speed.
I also found pics. So, now I think I'm just going to ask my dad to buy it so we can sell it......

Re: Take it or leave it............... If you really think your dad will simply buy it and then sell it and buy you a WS6 then that's fine. But these things always have a way of never working out that way unfortunately.
I wouldn't risk it, pewter SSs are sweet, I'd just settle <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> for that and appreciate it....take it and run

So, I think now I'm just going to wait. But, my dad still might buy it just to sell.

Re: Take it or leave it............... If you REALLY want a WS6 then wait to get one, but if my dad offered to buy me that car I would be all over it. You do know they are the same car under the sheet metal, right. So what's wrong with the SS (why is it at the auction I mean) I noticed the DS marker light is broken. An A4 isn't bad, it's easier to drag race, and with a TC it will stay with a M6 on a roll. It's up to you tho, if you want a WS6 M6 then wait until one comes available. If you just want an LS1 then look at this one

Re: Take it or leave it............... 12G's sounds like a lot to me for a 99 with a BLOWN engine(if thats what it is). A year ago i paid 15,500 for my '98 TA with 40,000. I think you could find a '98 TA (who knows, maybe even a WS6) for 14,000. I would save another grand or 2 and buy something NOT from an auction.....

Re: Take it or leave it............... I said I have 12 grand to spend. I can get this SS for a few grand and the ls1/ 6 speed is 3 thousand. Then a few hundred for instaling it and I would have a sweet SS. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But, I think I'm going to save some more money for the ws6. The book value for a 98 is 12,500.
I cant belive how those punks parked the SS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> . Also, I really dont care where the car comes from. Re: Take it or leave it............... Wait for the car you want. Period. IF you like the Firebirds more, wait and get a 'bird. If you like the manual tranny more, wait and get a manual tranny.
You could get a Formula for cheaper than a T/A and buy one of the hoods to go on it. Besides; with a Formula if you remove the emblems on the door; everyone will think it is just a V-6 'bird. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> Hehehe. Stealthy. Re: Take it or leave it............... Get it and Ill trade you my 2000 Modified M6 NBM SS for it, I will never own another 6 speed, I had a 2000 A4 camaro and miss it so bad! Automatics were so much faster, and I had allot more fun, especialy not having to replace a clutch.
