Do you really think that an average driver with a stock ls1 will run a 13.1?? Try about a 14.0 a professional driver can only get a 13.1 on the best of days. You obviously know nothing for me to get anyuwhere the near 12's I'd have to get a torque converter like vigilante to pick up .5 sec's in the 1/4......to get an ls1 to do 11's you need NOS
UMMMMMMMM YEEEEAAAAHHHHHH
What do you guys think? Does this guy know his stuff or what

To get an 11-sec pass: Auto car only needs converter and a few bolt-ons (many on this board have done it). A manual usually requires a bit more, but still nothing huge.
Do you need NOS for an 11? Well, nitrous (NOS is a brand name, thanks Fast and the Furious) with a bolt on auto is 10s. We have heads and cam cars deep into the 10s now, including some 6 speeds.
You would be shocked at just how many LS1s have hit 13.1X in stock form or better.
A good friend of mine went 12.9 @107 with a '02 WS6 A4 that only had 2000 miles on the motor at the time. Granted, it was the perfect weather, but still, he's certainly not a pro race car driver and the car was bone stock.
Hey I'm considering getting rid of the LT4 for an LS1 car. However this is what I've been told from an LS1 owener..... Here are his e-mails word for word. He has an 01 WS6 vert

cat-back is personal preference.. perf gains minimal... stock LS1 running 14.0s??? maybe if it's an M6 and I'm driving! GMAF not worth the money, 425 flywheel, 390 rear ... um 425x=390 = 8% loss through drivetrain... yea... right and a stock cam, head car making 390 rwhp? LOL
please tell us this guys email address or ask him to post on the board to back up his statements (my guess he drives a 17 second civic and thinks THAT's fast)
This makes me fill a lot better now... HAHAHA

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I could probably hit low 12's now with the recent modifications. I could go for high 11's if not for the stock 10 bolt. I only average 2.0 60' times to preserve the rear since I blew it up last year.
