Got my t/a sunday and love it. I have one question though, my water temp is showing at 210 and my friends 98 t/a only gets up to 180 is there a problem here?

 

99+ have a dumby guage and the 98 has a working guage.

I have the Aeroforce interceptor guage and is reads directly from the OBDII and it is usually 195 to 200 and yet my temp guage in the dash stays at 210 after it warms up.

Nothing wrong with your car only GM and their stupid thinking to put a dumby guage in.

 

My stock motor ran around 200 Does you friend have a 160 or 180 deg stat? My car with a 160 stat runs around 160 to 180 now.

 

The 98 probably has a 180 stat

The are 180* just like the 99+

I seem to have benefited from the 160* swap though.
