Someone please help diagnose problem!! I really didnt know where to post this but i have a problem with my truck engine.
Its a 98 chevy 5.7 litre . While driving the truck all of the sudden it will shut off. You can turn the key and it will start right back up. Also when you floor it when it reaches the higher rmps it will surge like its misfiring.
Ive replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor tested good, timing has been set at the dealer. new plugs, wires , cap ,rotor. Truck idles great. WTF???

Is it throwing any codes? Go to autozone and have them read the codes from the computer, that should at least get you going in the right direction. I had an older truck that had a bad ignition switch and it would shut off going around corners from the weight of the keys swinging.
