Meet Bessie
Well I finally bought my first car. I've been saving for the past 7+ years and it really paid off. The search began this past fall and now I finally found a nice deal:
1999 Camaro Z28
47K miles
Black
Hardtop
6-Speed
Fully Loaded (leather, asr, etc.)
Completely Stock

Saw the ad for it in the paper and my jaw just dropped. Went to check it out and it was everything I knew it would be (after countless other cars I checked out that had high mileage and were beat on). Got it at a fairly cheap price...lower than I ever thought of paying. It was babied and only had about 11k miles put on since 2001.
These past 2 weeks my Dad taught me how to drive a standard and I'm still working on getting the shifts nice and smooth. It was a little tough at first, but now I'm loving the manual
. And he isn't complaining either because he gets to do a lot of driving while I learn.
Just thought I'd share my story with the board since now I'll be posting much more frequently. Proud to own a Camaro

welcome to the good side! You will love your car! Watch out though, cause hanging out at this site is a sure way to get bit by the mod bug! But, enjoy LS1tech for all that it is, and learn everything you can!
