1. lid w/ free ram air (fra is basically same as the kit from SLP, just cut the lower airbox. forget about buying a smooth below, just use the 3 inch ferno stuff from home depot). $100
2. either a cutout or just cut the muffler off w/ a nice set of tips. $50-$150
3. ls6 intake. $300
4. lowering springs, adj. panhard bar (recenters rearend), LCA brackets (makes up for lost LCA angle after its lowered), boxed or tubular LCA's. $400
5. !CAGS skip shift elimniator. $30 from SLP or make your own for $.50
6. TNA shortstick. $50 on ebay.

this will put you around $1000. This will only get you to about 340 HP, but youll have a good foundation in the suspension for more power later, and youll benefit from all that down the road more than you will at first. also it'll be alot easier and mroe enjoyable to drive w/ a short stick and w/o the annoying CAGS that locks up 2nd gear and sends you to 4th. hope i was a lil help to ya.

Lid, headers, exhaust, cam. If you shop around correctly, you can do all these for 2 grand or less.

:werd: i agree. don't worry about cags cuz as long as you accelerate fast enough you won't need to worry about it.

headers and cam would be sweet but im in california :( gotta keep it legal(ish) till summer
you guys are mentioning ONLY 350ish hp lol i am coming from an A4 LT1 w/ like 290hp so im content with 340hp for the time being
i think im gunna hold off on the rims till december but i will be driving mountain roads and puny stock tires suck and i dont wanna lose traction all the time
i think a cutout will be the best road to take for now since it will cost like 80 bucks installed, free ram air and home depot !cags will work nicley also
i want to get a shifter (5.0 or hurst w/e i can get for cheaper) and a short throw which should be like 200 total.
lid for 100 and all the suspension stuff mentioned by kyles2000z and proboly an ls6 intake unless i can get a deal on some used z06 rims or something

thanks so much for all the advice guys
