22K seems steep, but a lot of that is also based where you are in the country too. If it is mint, i gotta say i would concider it. Seems like I see some 01-02 TA's going for about the same or more than same year 'Vettes. just my .02 though

If SOM is your connection, get it. I fully understand. You cannot go out and order one. You cannot search dealer inventory and find one new. What choices do we SOM'aholic's have????????????????? Finding a GOOD one just the way you want it leaves you no real choice. I drove 750 miles to get my 2002 SOM SS with 27K miles just over a month ago. A couple thou' now won't make much difference 10 years from now but you will HAVE the car you've been looking for now. If you are in this car addiction thing thinking that you will "save" a lot of $$$$$ then you are kidding yourself. Enjoy the cars when and how you can if that's your thing. I know it is mine.

well considering comperable ws6's with 50k+ miles are going for 18-21 (individuals to dealers) i think half the miles and a hell of alot better color is worth 1-2k max.

And i will b left without regret.......

Btw thanks everyone for your opinions

SOM =

That price does seem decent. If it's worth it to you, pay it.

Just like there's a premium for 35th SSs and CETAs, there's going to be a premium for SOM and HOSS. People are willing to pay more for things that look nice. On a lower level, it's the same reason ricers dump thousands of dollars into non-functional body kits, because they THINK it enhances the car's look. A lot of us on this forum care about function over form, but we have to remember to take in the outside world's demands every now and then when it comes to things like paying a premium for appearance. To each his own. Just my $.02.

i love SOM im looking at a 8k mile ss for around that price... its worth it

you could save money and look like everyone else, or you could spend a few g's more and stand out. and have a rarer car.

its just money, worthless when you are dead

Money's worthless until you use it to buy something... personally, I think an SOM T-top WS6 is the best-looking F-body, hands down.
