yeah ls6 manifold is a great mod for a 98.

Does the performance pac include headers? if not those are always a good mod

First off, read this:

Is the car an auto or manual? If its an auto deffently get a stall converter.

For an auto, stall, headers/ypipe, catback, and an LS6 intake
For an M6, headers/ypipe, catback, shifter, LS6 intake
^^ that should get you a good start, the mods you do are only limited by your budget and imagination
BTW if it's an M6 be careful launching hard on those sticky tires, you might be looking for a new rear end

that manifold will give you better gains with the more you have on your car, ie headers
