ok guys i have a 1998 ls1 with 114,000 miles on it
rumbler exhuast 3.42 gears .........
slp lid and thats it

i wantt o put a cam in my car something mild because i drive my car all the time maby heads a little later ............ if i do it im gonna want roller rockers upgraded springs and things like that . i want a descent gane with out over kill picj a cam and tell me why


and id like a site where i can order a whole kit if possible

You need headers before a cam. The stock rockers will work just fine. Go read through the internal engine section and make the decision yourself.

yea im planning on headers and yes my plate says wanna race...... is there any gain
from changing my rockers
i know i will have to change my springs
so springs,cam,headers and intake

I would consider the GT2-3 cam from Lingenfelter. It makes good power, idles like stock, doesn't hurt gas mileage and has great street manners.

just depends on what ratio rockers your replacing the stock 1.7 ratios with, the higher the number the more ur lift ur gonna create with those rockers, remember lift is not what really makes power...its duration, and lift just comes as a side effect of nasty high durated cams.
