shift problems i have a 02 ss with a stock tranny and a hurst 6 speed. when iam geting on it and shift in to 3 at about 65 the shifter will go in to 1 like its in 3 and lock up the rearend. it also makes a ratteling noise form about 2500rpm up does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong ???

well first of all if it goes into first instead of third that is your fault. You need to learn how to shift. Second to help get a different shifter like a pro 5.0The rattling noise is probably a bent valve or pushrod from you missing the shifts.
This thread *will not* turn into a flame on this guy for not knowing how to shift, so if you don't have anything constructive do not say it.
