Default need help? is this normal

I was sitting at a stop light late last night it was about 60 degrees out and I decided to get on it, it spun all the way through first hit second and then pulled through second.

Then i came upon the next stoplight and the car didnt feel right, dont know how to explain, but it kind of smelled..and my oil gauge was bouncing around under the normal place. I took off slowly and it came back up to normal, then i stopped again..and it went back down and bounced around??

Is this normal? Or is something wrong?

thats normal... your oil pressure increases when you gun it because all the oil is running through your engine and theres not as much in the oil pan, once you come back to a stop or slow down to a lower rpm the oil pressure drops back down and your needle bounces around until it reaches the pressure at which you are at then..
