ls6/ls1????
dpends what year ls1....the 01 and 02 LS1 were basically an LS6 minus the cam and heads but some had the LS6 block (not that it makes that much of a difference having the LS6 block) and all had the LS6 intake manifold...theres a write up on here thats a sticky that tells the exact differences...
but not all the 01 and 02's came with the ls6 intake some did but not all. i think like 15% in 01 and like 30% in 02 came with the ls6 intake.. but they all really run about the same no big dif. b/t 99 TA and a 2002 TA they will run the same at the track. but the ls6 had the same CI (cubic inches) BUT came with a dif. camshaft and a dif. intake. bigger TB's,
Yes he is getting a little confused. ALL 01/02 LS1 powered F-bodies came with the LS6 intake. However, 15% of 01's and 30% of 02's came with the LS6 block which you can tell the difference between due to the LS6 block being "dull". Whereas the LS1 block is "shiny" for lack of a better word.
