Ls6 Block?

Ls6 Block? I just recently bought an 02 ss camaro and a friend was telling me that some of the 01 and 02 cars came from the factory with the ls6 block. If this is true how would i find out if my car has the ls6 block and what is the difference between the ls6 and ls1 blocks? Thanks

Doesn't really matter much anyway, LS6 blocks have better bay to bay breathing but as a result are ever so slightly weaker than an LS1 block. For anywhere near stock (or even double) horsepower applications, for all general purposes, they are more or less the same.
