you cant necessarily base hp ratings off cam grinds. The Hotcam I would think is a lil more aggressive than the LS6 cam. The Hotcam has a Tighter LSA meaning your gonna lope more and you wil reach your power band faster.

Ultimate hp ratings is decided upon many things including ultimate compression ratio(head gaskets have alot to do with this aswell), and what type of cylinder heads are being used.

Also, remember NO two cars will ever dyno the exact same. Every motor is different.

If you are looking for a mild/streetable cam I suggest either the TR224 or 228.

+1...Your going to need to upgrade your valvetrain with either of those cams, so why not run a bigger cam? TR224 is a prove performer, so maybe try that. Also, do you have all the bolt ons such as lid, ls6 intake, headers and catback/cutout?

Those are pretty mild. I don't think I would go through the hassle of the install for something like the hotcam. Just my opinion but I think you will agree eventually.

I think if you want something mild go with the TR224. This cam is probably one of the most popular grinds for the LSX motor. Excellent driveability.

You can find the grind at Thunder Racing or Texas Speed and Performance.
