Default Light Shimmer = Bad Coil / Wire ?

i was reading on camarosource.ca about my 01 blue Z/28 and there was some random document talking about engine studder and light flicker from slow take off.....

anyways, my question is, my lights shimmer/flicker/pulsate all the time, everytime the engine is running. i dont get engine studder, just constant interior and exterior light flickering.

Some random retard i work with said if the engine is missing or has an electrical problem you would see it in the flickering pattern of the lights... keep in mind him and i were both high when we discussed this...

So...
1) Is this from my spark plugs?
2) What about the coil and wire?

wanna fix it soon, any and all help/suggestions welcome. Thanks guys

Its one coil for every plug, so 8 coils. Check the alternator first or the battery

1) No
2) No

Its the voltage regulator in the alternator, if you want to fix it buy a new alt.

Had same problem with my 89' Grand Am, lights would pulse/flicker every now and then. Changed the alternator and its fine now, even brighter!
