fuel questions Hi, I'm about to put a 243 heads and the futral 224/224,/588/588,114 cam with borla catback exhaust,lid,ls6 intake with ported tb in my 99 ls1 firebird. I wanted to know if my stock fuel pump handle this upgrade? I know the stock 26lb injector is probably borderline,but don't know about pump. Whats the max hp on the pump? Lets say i change the pump to the Walbro and after do i need to do anything else besides the pump? Like doing something to the fuel pressure regulator? PLease help I'm a newbie

No, you wont have to do anything else if you change the fuel pump. If i were you i would go ahead a change it for the Walbro, its only another $120 and the install isnt to bad if you following this writeup http://www.gonicd.com/intankinstall/...mpinstall.html
