Passenger side went in through the top, drivers side through the bottom. Eh, it was a pain in the **** for me but I dont have all the right tools, didnt have the right air tube sent to me for the year, had an air tube piece sieze up went to the dealership twice for replacement parts. With patience you should be able to tackle it first time.

Patience. Mine were a pain also, but having done them once, I could change them again pretty easily. Same as above, I didn't have all the right tools. I put both of mine in through the bottom. Again be patient and it's not all that bad of a job to take on with average experiance.

after mine i swore id never do another again... and then a year later my friend dragged me into another install... header installs suck, but the company makes a difference... from what ive seen dyno graph wise the hooker headers do better than the pacesetters but the pacesetters are considerably less and go in A LOT easier than the hookers... on my 2000 (with hookers) on the drivers side i had to take out the oil filter assembly, notch the block and take out the steering linkage... my friends pacesetters just slid right in...

I did my buddy's on his 02 SS. Didn't do mine though I got a shop to do it same time they did my cam install. However LT's are easy his pacesetters slid right in(from the bottom). We had a full garage to play around with on base though. And like another guy said, after you do it once it will be simple the second time, if you ever had to do it again. But, you need to decide if you wanna run off road pipes or not

Took a friend and myself 5 hours, a case of beer, and 1 large pizza. If your going to do it yourself in your garage and don't have a lift, try to get the car about 30" of the ground. Jack it up and put it on blocks or jack stands. Try to keep the car level for stability. I used pacesetter and they just slid in from the bottom. Take your time and put anti-sieze compound on your bolts and plugs. Makes the removal easier. You might want to coat the all the header bolts with wd-40 the night before to help with removal and lastly do it right the first time.

I just did pacesetters a few weeks ago in my garage with a buddy. The only thing i had really done before was a catback and my friend didnt really have any experience either. It took us a long time to do it but we also werent in a hurry because i had another car to drive while we were working on it. The install is time consuming but really not difficult. The only hard part i thought was getting to some of the header bolts. Dont be afraid to take this on without a lot of experience, its not that bad.
