Default ls1 tapping hard

ok heres the deal i bought the shortblock for my car out of a burned car. the pan had gotten hot cuz there was a lot of dried oil in it, but it was just in the pan. i just cleaned it out and stuck it back on there. when second gear went out in my car it bounced off the limiter very hard. ever since it has had a tap sound to it. it would only do it when it was cold and then smooth out when warmed up. now...today i was driving it around and the tap has gotten extremely louder especially under a load. my low oil light keeps coming on and off but i am not low on oil. the thing really clatters at 3k+. i am worried the thing is about to blow up but only has 30,xxx on shortblock....my oil pressure gauge now has gone down a lot...showing between red and 20 on the gauge when warmed up and it acts like it doesnt want to run right....when in park you put it in drive and it will almost die and sometimes does.....if it is a piston slap will i have to buy new pistons and have it honed or what? could it be a lifter?? under a load at 3k+ it sounds bad.
pushrods are good in it i already checked them. could it be a lifter or a piston slap?? how could i tell without breaking into it ?

Welcome to the club of spun bearings

I've had it a few times and sounds like from what you described to be exactly that.

I forgot how much it was to get my crank turned on my old car. I had the crank turned block checked and cleaned and head checked and cleaned. That total cost me I believe about $120.
